I'm trying to send photos via Facebook and Viber and it's so rotating the photos. They look fine saved on phone then rotating them 180degrees it seems. Anyone know how to fix this?

I've got a Sony Xperia Z3 compact and software was only updated in the last few days. Could it be that?

is it the way you are taking the photos?

The camera button on the screen shows what way the phone is going to orient the photo after you take it. Sometimes I have to tilt my z1 a few times to get it facing the right way. It can look like you're taking it one way but if you don't check the camera icon it might not be. Most apps, and definitely the photo editor on the phone will let you rotate a photo after its taken. The default orientation seems to be landscape with the camera button on the top right.

No its nothing to do with that as it was fine before this.

I can look at the photo and it's fine but when uploade through Facebook or what's app it rotates some sideways to landscape. It's very annoying. I had quite a few photos to send to someone and just said sorry you'll have to rotate them yourself!!
