Please don't lecture on smoking - I already know and really don't need to hear I should give up - I know I should!

The question I'm hoping to get answered is:

Has anyone done the 21 night bleaching teeth with trays, and smoked during the days? If so, how badly did it affect the bleaching? How can I smoke and do the bleaching without absolutely wrecking my teeth / completely negating the bleaching?

I'm sure that it's been done. You'll get whiter teeth but not as white if you didn't smoke.
Like washing your car and driving into a muddy puddle....

Thanks for the reply and for your restraint re the obvious answer!
As you say, I'm sure it's been done. Anyone?

I'm sorry, but imma have to bite here..
There's no excuse to keep on smoking if you want to quit.

Head over to the Vaping & e-smoking forum, and read a couple of the newbie threads.

Even if you've tried before and didn't succeed / didn't like it, the improvement in the equipment in the last year or two means quitting is easy, and the health (including whiter teeth!) and financial benefits make it a no-brainer.

Thanks (sort of) but that's a whole other post and thread and off topic for what I'm asking here.

Yeah, sorry.. There's no one as righteous as the reformed smoker / alcoholic / whatever, but I hope you do take it on board..
I was a never-gonna-quit stair-dodging smoker, with yellow teeth and fingers, so excuse the evangelising :)

You will get good results with at home whitening so long as the trays fit properly, the bleach is good and you do it correctly. Will the smoking effect it....a bit yes but you will still get a lot of improvement.

They do, it is, I am and whew, thank you. The trays and bleach are through the dentist so I've no worries about the process. It's my compliance or lack of it over the 21 days that's the issue. Coffee through a straw, no smoking and whitish food for 21 days is a challenge to say the very least.
