I'm rebuilding a 1983 Raleigh and I need some cranks. Square taper, ideally 52/42 with dust caps. Not fussed about the length, also not looking to spend a fortune. Let me know what you've got. Thanks :)

Sorry, think I'll have to pass. I'd have to buy an octalink tool, find a Raleigh threaded octalink bb and get the current bb out. I'd prefer to just slap a square taper straight on. Thanks though :)

I have a Custom Aluminium square taper crankset that came of an old Raleigh racer of the same vintage in the shed. A bit of clean up will be required because some paint was applied by a previous owner. The bike was a copy of the Raleigh Team Panasonic bike. As far as I know it is 52/42. The BB on the bike was an old style cup and cone square taper which I also have but I would replace with a cartridge bearing unit.

Anyway you are welcome to it if suites your task.
