Looking for a set of carbon clinchers for training on. Ideally 50mm
    Matt black preferably
Need to be able to run an 11 speed cassette or at least be able to upgrade at not much cost
    What have you got?

Why would you want a set of carbon wheels solely for training on?

To make my bike look pretty!!

Like to train on carbon wheels to get the right feel. Wouldn't be training on a brand new set hence the thread for second hand.

    That's fair enough.

A pair of chinese carbon wheels would probably do the job so.

I've a pair with 5000+km not a bother on them and they're used in all weather.

Do you mind me asking where you got them. What make and what hub is on them? I just don't know anyone directly to ask about there recommendation on these wheels

Probably not a good idea mentioning on them as the thread will probably descend into a pro v con on chinese carbon. There are plenty of clips on youtube but as I assume you're a grown man you can decide yourself.

I got them through hongfu and by the time they cleared customs etc they were about 450 I'd say.

They come with novatec hubs although I believe they do carbon ceramic hubs now.

I think merlin cycles do good deals on carbon factory wheels also although probably not this time of year.
