Raising arms above head while sleeping

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar as a google search has been fairly fruitless.

From time to time, I'll wake up a few times throughout the night and each time I'll have put both my hands up behind my head with my elbows bent while I was asleep. When I wake both arms are dead with pins and needles and takes a few minutes to get back to normal functioning.

I understand this isn't a forum for medical advice but I'm wondering if anyone has heard of this or any causes of it? I do have epilepsy with partial seizures and I'm considering if they're related.
