Aaron Devlin R.I.P

Aaron Devlin, from Balinderry passed away today at the age of 23. He played Minor, u21 and Senior football for Derry.

He was playing a Challenge match at the weekend and had to come off feeling weak. He fell sick later and has been in intensive care since, and passed away this afternoon.

This is just rotten news. A tragedy. Thoughts go out to his family and the wider GAA circle at Ballinderry and Derry. A great club who no doubt will rally around his family now during this horrible time.

Hard to believe, I recall him at school, he was captain of the Dalton cup winning team in 06, he was actually 23 though.

We can't bring him back, all we can do is be supportive.
