ARD and Short Accounting Year

    Hi

My company's Accounting Period runs from July 1st to June 30th, with an ARD of Dec 31st. I normally avail of the ARD plus 28 days rule to submit an Annual Return in late January.

I'd like to change the Company Accounting period to match the calendar year - Jan 1st to Dec 31st - to make planning and tax handling easier.

The last accounts filed with the CRO were to June 30th 2014, and the next ARD is Dec 31st 2015.

I'd like to create Accounts for a six month period (July 1st 2014 to Dec 31st 2015) and submit those to CRO and details to Revenue, and thereafter create accounts that match the calendar year.

How can I do this? Thanks
