Currently installing buffer tank in garage with solid fuel boiler to supply UFH and DHW cylinder (located in house). Do I need to run separate flow and returns for UFH and cylinder or can I hopefully use the 1 flow and return to supply both.

How will you control the two different temperature requirements?
Whats the design UFH temp vs the design DHW heat exchanger temp or are you just going to top up with el or gas or oil?

Will u just have one big intelligent pump to cater for the different pumping loads?

    Whats the run length?

    The distance is 35 meters.

I'm guessing the 1 flow and return isn't be best way to go?

In that case, would a 26mm pipe be sufficient supply on the flow and returns. Was thinking of putting 4 x 26mm insulated pipes inside a 6 inch sewer pipe, running from garage to house, and pump full of expanding foam.
