    peugeot 206 02,has a worn balljoint. can the ball joint be just pressed out and replaced on its own or does the whole wishbone have to be replaced?thanks

    I think it comes complete with the steering control arm.

    It may well be removable from the arm, but then you have to find a supplier of the part on its own.

    This is what happens when they are left to break:

    The bushes on the arm appear as separate parts, but for the ball joint the whole shooting match. :mad:

    jesus! imagine that failing at speed! i take it that the oil on the ground is from the driveshaft being pulled out of the gearbox? thanks for the info and pics,i am just gonna replace the wishbone. i priced it today,50 euro so not to bad. once again, thank you.

    Yes, the oil is from the driveshaft pulling out.

    This was an employee in the works car park. Only one of the windscreen discs was out of date at the time and you can probably guess which one.
