What does an RGI Conformance Certificate look like? I had a gas boiler service done and got a certificate of conformance afterwards. It has a Bord Gas logo on the top left. There is no RGII logo and no rgi membership number. I cannot find the engineer's name on www.rgii.ie: (

    Its A4 size
    White copy for the customer
Rgii logo top corner and a list of checks with a company no to be filled in
    Rgi signature and no also
    If your not satisfied
    Please ring RGII and complain
Bord gais are a law upon themselves in my opinion and absolutely not a company or enterprise to use for servicing
    Again just my opinion.

What I got does not have the RGII logo on it anywhere.
It has the engineer's name and mobile number, no company number.

    Is it a valid document?

This is what an RGI cert that should be issued for the Service or Repair of any Gas Appliance looks like (usually with the Flue Gas Analysis ticket stuck to it). A similar cert is issued for a new Gas Boiler installation and a different one again for a New Gas Supply, anything else is not valid and is probably nothing more than a receipt.
If anyone is in doubt about someone being RGI registered, always ask to see their RGI card which will have their Photograph, their Name, their RGI Number and an Expiry Date.
