No Social Welfare Payment this week

    Is there some issue with social welfare payments this week? I'm on back to education allowance but I collect my rent allowance at the post office, it's usually in on Mondays, Went to collect it today and there was no payment in, the guy said its not in for tomorrow either. The person in front of me had the same issue, no payment in for him either.
    This happen to anyone else this week? Is there a delay in payments?

    No they just cut it off without any warning. The woman I was speaking to doesn't even know why, just that I have to reapply again. Seems a bit crazy. The first time I applied it took 4 months, it'll probably be the same this time. Back to college in 6 weeks so very stressful.

    Ya signed back on for the summer, can't seem to get any explaination off them as to why it's been stopped.
