Suggestions on toddler proofing tv

    My youngest.
I love him to bits. But if I have to pay for another TV due to kids stabbing it, well .
Im going to throw him in the bin.
His brother went at my last TV with a fork years ago. Had to tell the insurance company it fell on the poker set for the fire. They knew it was a lie...

Now my latest addition is crawling and getting up on his feet. The TV and all the bits that go with it are like a magnet. Tried shouting no and all the rest of the stuff that folk with no children think work, but he just laughs at me.:(

Any ideas?? Was thinking a few pallets torn apart for the timber, given a few shots of the power plane on each surface and making a picket fence around the entertainment center. about 3' high. Maybe an electric fence . Need something. Cant mount it on the wall.

    Suggestions welcomed.

How about something like this, OP?

I'm sure you could get one made up for you quite cheaply out of some perspex.

back of the hand would work.......but in all seriousness, my gran used to pull nettles out of the field and leave bunches strategically placed around fridge door handles, cabinets et al

We used one of those fireplace fences/guards. Worked a treat. Remotes still worked through them too. Looked a little unsightly, but was only for a few months.
