I've called 3 different mechanics and not a single one is answering. Do mechanics take Mondays off?

I know they're generally brutal at answering the phone but today is ridiculous.

Probably busy with the workload. They are usually closed on Sundays and half a short Saturday so people with problems cannot go down during the weekend or they need to use the car during the weekend. I would say Monday is the busiest day of the week.

One of the best mechanics I know is also the town undertaker and choir singer. You literally have to check the births, marriages and deaths notices before you ring him.

Yeah, it's usually best to just swing by and chat.
Don't even bother with mails, I've still to get responses from last year :D

The garage i prefer is on the Kylemore road and I live in Celbridge. They pick the car up from work and give us a 10%, so no dropping by.

Finally got an answer there. They'll ring me back in 5 minutes. That was 35 minutes ago, I'll be shocked if I hear from them today!
