Was looking at a terraced house today and this just caught my eye

The driveway is sloping towards the house, not alot but definitely sloping towards house and the house itself is on a slight Hill

Outside the front.door there is an aco drain but right across the living room Window there none

The inside floor level is the same as the outside driveway level so I was thinking that any water that made its way down the driveway could potentially cause problems with dampness on the inside of house?! There is 100mm cavity with insulation inside

I suggested running the aco drain the whole way across the drive ie under the Window but it was considered overkill

The house is idle 5 years and has no dampness at all around house

    What are peoples.opinions on this!

winter 2013 /2014 was the wettest on record..... is there any evidence at all of dampness in the house?

does the path slope from the front door down towards the living room window?

No sign of damp anywhere,I was thinking there might be a tray dpc on the Inside but can't be sure

There is a slight fall from door to under Window but there is also a fall on the driveway in the same direction

I'll try draw a sketch today after work I don't.want to upload a picture as im interesting in buying the place
