In the undercard Pascal got a UD over Yuniesky Gonzalez which was controversial to say the least.

Pascal always vulnerable took a lot of heavy shots. Gonzalez was never discouraged but a good last round from Pascal might have swung it.

IMO he doesnt deserve a rematch with Kovalev.

Kovalev toying with him now and Mohammedi very fortunate to survive that 2nd round.

    Next round ko probably.

    Boom!

Not remotely troubled and wouldnt have learnt much from that. Mismatch against an awkward opponent. Again Kovalev looked a bigger fighter.

    3rd round ko.

When he was asked about the Ward fight he replied like GGG in terms of he'll fight anyone.

Just saw the card and the Pascal fight was a cracker. Without keeping a running tally, I thought it was close, but that Pascal lost. He wasn't working as hard as the Cuban but his punches were much more obvious, cleaner punches. I wouldn't regard it as a particularly bad decision though.

With regard to Kovalev, from a person who took a while to believe in him, I have to say he's excellent to watch. I love his predominantly straight-punching style with almost everything coming off an excellent jab. His timing is superb and he's such a hard puncher that even if he fought Ward and was behind on points, you just couldn't rule him out.

He beats Ward IMO. Does everything needed, and is that bit bigger, as well as heavier handed. I see Ward having to go into grab and hold mode to be competitive.
