I left my job with immediate effect not too long ago and I'm wondering will I get all money owed (wages, holiday pay, pension scheme contributions), or does the employer have the right to hang on to it?

Did you quit without notice, or were you fired?

You have the right to your wage, the holiday pay up to that date that is left up to that work date etc. yes; depending on your contract there can be deductions for things such as paid training courses etc.

I quit due to extreme personal issues going on outside of work.
They were completely understanding and respected my decision to leave immediately.

If they were sound about you leaving, you will probably get everything.

But you may possibly have your holiday days taken in lieu of notice.
