Telephone Interviews.

I have an issue with these. Not the fact that its a telephone interview, but my performance on same. I am just off a telephone interview and I must have done relatively OK, as they want to meet me next week. But I was so nervous on the call, I found it difficult to breath/talk at one stage. This maybe multiplied in my head a bit, but its not the first time it happened on a phone interview.

I am far less nervous during a face to face meeting, and have generally good phone skills as i spend a lot of time on the phone in work anyway...but when it comes to a phone interview, I know myself I am not at my best and struggling a bit ( in my own head at least).

It is something a lot of companies are doing more and more off, so has anyone any suggestions for handling these better, or for relaxing a bit more on the call. I dread them, and thats not a good place to be.
