I'm looking for route suggestions for a ~70k spin starting & ending in Leixlip.

Don't mind if it's a bit hilly, but prefer to avoid or minimise heavy traffic areas if possible.

Any recommended route for that distance plus or minus 10k or so?

    How about something like this?

    Leixlip > Clonee > Batterstown > Trim > Summerhill > Kilcock > Maynooth > Leixlip

76km in all. Any time I've done it, traffic has been light enough. No major hills (apart from Captain's Hill at the start).

    Leixlip>dunboyne>summerhill>kilcock>maynooth>celbridge>leixlip.

no hills really(bar the climb up from Summerhill) 55kms or so. Traffic is generally light bar the towns!.

    Leixlip- Lucan Golf Club-Tandys Lane-Hazelhatch Station-The Lords Road-Ardclough-Kilteel-Rathmore-Kill- Straffan-Leixlip.

Apart from Kill to Straffan this is a very quiet road in terms of car traffic.
