UK Police Clearance

    Hi there, I'm looking for some advice! Does anyone here have any experience of applying for police clearance in the UK for a job in Ireland?

    I lived in England for a while and think that I'll have to provide the equivalent of garda clearance for a job here in Ireland, but I'm not having a lot of luck with my Google research on how to go about this.

    The closest I've found is ACRO, but their website says they only provide police clearance for visa purposes and not for employment...

    Any advice?

    Try Disclosure Scotland. It seems to be for the whole of the UK and seems to cover employment purposes. Maybe try the Disclosure and Barring Service as well.

    I agree, it's disclosure Scotland you need to contact for whole of UK.
