Hey I just graduated but have literally no experience or idea what I want to do next? My degree is in Economics and Spanish, I wouldn't mind getting into finance but atm its just an idea. I would love to get some experience in this type of workplace just to get some experience in the corporate world? How and where can I get an internship? Any places you would recommend? I'm thinking of Deloitte or Accenture.

Also I've done my time working a lot of part-time jobs and I feel its time I get some relevant experience to my career.

Check out the graduate entry schemes for Deloitte and accenture, they only recruit grads through that

Right now I'm kinda worried if I have the skills to work in a place like that. What kind of skills do they look for for their programes? Are they likely to hire someone with an arts degree. Thanks for the reply.

I know adventure aim to hire top graduates and look primarily for people to have a first

*Coughs* I may have to uhm start off a bit more modestly then. I'm really just looking for somewhere I can be a 'fly on a wall' even, just to see how things are done because right now I have no idea.

If anyone has recommendations of careers that I could pursue with my degree subjects that would be brilliant! I don't want to be a teacher however

You didn't do a degree without thinking about what career it will lead to, did you ?

I had some vague notions, my plan initially was to work in the European Union, so I chose two subjects that I thought would help following that.

Does your university have a graduates careers advisor? They would be a good person to speak to.

Yeah there is, never been to it though. I'm looking into different Masters programes now.
