Hi all, just quick question. I have kali linux installed on a computer , and I have samba installed and pointing to a folder. So I can copy files from windows to linux. The problem is when I boot up Kali linux the name of the HDD is allways different eg : media/627A8BOB7A8ADAE5 is there a way to have the HDD named the same…

Probably better suited.
I think if you can add an entry to your fstab you could map it that way and give it what name you wanted.
Altho best to ask in that forum.
