Cycling Wallet

Looking a new wallet, my cheap plastic one has ripped. Want one that fits the smaller iPhone 6, has somewhere to store money and a bank card/ID card

Any recommendations?

I saw a rapha one recently but no doubt it is about 400 quid.

Edit: Forgot to say, it must be waterproof.

Exactly, a cycling forum! Something that is sitting in your jersey pocket to protect your phone in the rain is not exactly a fashion accessory.

I use a money clip that also holds a credit card or two. Modern phones are unlikely to get damaged through water pentrating your pockets. However if you want something to protect that as well, something like this may be a bit pricey but should last a long time

I'm using these - they're only €1.50

I have waterproof iPhone 5s case. And I only carry what I need - after listening to morning show on RTE Radio where they interviewed some honest pick pocketer who was giving safety tips. So from now on my wallet stays at home and I bring the ATM card if I need it. Otherwise the tesco bag holds some cash, safely and dry in my saddlebag.

Good value for money

Zuh? I'd say that credit cards and money are unlikely to get damaged by water, but even my Ziploc bag/pocket is damp when I stop for the coffee break.

Sure, there are a few ips7 (or whatever the waterproof standard is called), but I wouldn't call it most.

I just use ziplock bags. Phone, cash, ID and card and a single key. All nice and flat and waterproof (and cheap).

Would you not prefer a waterproof phone instead? I have one and used it successfully, but came back to my 15-year old one, as it is tough enough and does not have the useless touch screen.

I use Aquapac cases. Totally waterproof. With lanyard.

I'm happy with it. Its a bit bulky if you have a small phone. But if you have an iPhone6 or Samsung Galaxy, its as small as it can be.

I prefer a wallet over a plastic bag as I feel it offers a bit more protection for my phone in the event of a crash/falling out of my pocket etc.
