Leaking shower tray

The shower tray in the ensuite is leaking into the room below and I presume its a fault in the sealant on the edge as its the exact same spot as a few years back when the shower was originally fitted and leaked. Very minor leaking at the moment but I really want it fixed before it causes major problems

So what Im wondering is : is it just a case of me applying a layer of silicone or should i get a professional out?

    Thanks for any pointers

Clean well and let dry out could use a hairdryer be careful not to burn out the dryer and as you said apply silicone just after doing one a few hours ago i have yet to live in a house where the shower didn't leak
