Shared PDF - cannot save or print - DropBox/Macbook

Hi My friend sent me the Lonely Planet PDF's for a few places on DropBox but when I go to open them it will only allow me to download them on my laptop which is a macbook. I can then only open them with colorsync and there is no option to save them or print them. Can anyone help me and tell me how I can change this as I…

Open it in Preview. Or download a different PDF reader and open it in that

It sounds like you don't have a PDF reader installed.

You can download a dedicated PDF read such as Adobe Acrobat or use the quick view functionality in OS X, select the file and press the space bar.
