    Hi,

How much work does it involve having boadband installed?  I am renting an apartment and need to know what is involved to check with my landlord. There is an old modem from another provider here  already if that helps. Thank you

    Hi shellycub

It's quite a straight forward process. When ordering broadband a line must be installed (or reactivated if service was previously active) This may require an engineer if the line can't be reactivated and the average timeframe is up to 10 working days. There's no connection fees involved and the monthly price will vary depending on what package and subscription type you want to sign up to.

I recommend contacting the WebChat team for more information via www.eircom.ie/chatnow - You can also speak to sales on free phone 1800503303.

    Thanks
    Al
