    Chevrolet Epica Airbag
    Hi,

I recently read the Airbag codes on a 2008 2.0 litre petrol Chevrolet Epica.
This Epica had sustained driver wing damage that deployed the driver steering wheel airbag.

A second hand replacement airbag module was installed from another Epica that had rear damage.

When I read the Airbag codes the following returned:

    4 CURRENT Fault Codes:
    -1. B1657 Deployment Command Pretensioner
    -2. B1650 Frontal Stage 1 Deployment Command
-3. B1361 Driver Pretensioner Deployment Loop Resistance High
-4. B1367 Passenger Pretensioner Deployment Loop Resistance High

    5 HISTORY Fault Codes:
-1. B2502 Passenger Airbag Disabled Indicator Circuit Malfunction
    -2. B1102 Battery Voltage Low
-3. B1405 Right Front Side Impact Sensor short to Battery
-4. B1346 Driver frontal deployemnt loop stage 1 resistance above threshold
-5. B1103 SIR Serial Communication Fault

As above there are current and Historic fault codes, however I was not able to delete any of the above fault codes.

Anyone any idea as to the problem above?

    Thanks in advance!

It looks like the two pretensioners have deployed. The could be the two front seat belts or the two seat belt recievers.

You may also need to get the airbag ecu reset or replaced.

Yea you cant just throw in an airbag and have it be fixed again, need two new pretensioners and a new airbag ecu(some cars will have multiple airbag ecus so be careful)
