I've never had golf lessons before.

I've decided I'd like to get some lessons to try and improve my game and make golf more interesting to play.

I'm looking for some recommendations of decent golf lessons in the Dublin/Meath/Wicklow area. I'd like to do video analysis as well.

Any recommendations? I've searched on the internet and come up with a few - Barry Power/Carlton GUI etc...

Does the Spawell use video analysis?

David Lewis in Greystones Driving range. Has all the toys and knows how to use them. Keeps it simple. His partner in the business, Karl Holmes had a hand in Paul Dunnes career so far.... he of The Open fame right now.

  • In Spawell they'll film you on an iPad at the least.

I always recommend Deirdre Judge. She's in a driving range in Kinsealy. I find her a brilliant teacher.

    Thanks for the recommendations.

I'm actually surprised that there so little marketing online for them.

Hi Shane, Played with you a few years ago in Greystones, I think.

You could try Stephen Ennis, golf pro in Balcarrick near Donabate. He has a great new indoor facility using "Trackman" and the outdoor practice area provides for all types of shots from Driver through to bunker play. See attached link to new website he has just set up - scroll down page to view recent Youtube videos.

I'm a member myself and have had lessons this year. Facilities and coaching are first class and have helped me pare shots off my handicap (even if it is still very much a work in progress and requires a lot more practice to permanently embed all the learning).

Certainly a very good website - It'd be a bit of a drive for me though
