You can get a free pint of orchards thieves when you log in to their website and "Thieve" a pint.

Do the pubs get paid for every pint they give that's claimed from the website ?

    Heineken own Orchards thieve

Usually these vouchers say the pub is refunded up to a certain value, so pubs cannot take the piss and say the pints are usually €20 each, though some in temple bar would not be far off!

From the pub's point of view even if all they got was a breakeven price for the free pint it would probably be a good idea to get people in. Most people would have friends with them buying normal drinks, and/or would stay for a second normal drink.

That's a good point. Few lads in my local have multiple email address so they get a good few free pints. But they regulars and I'd say the promotion be over soon. The bar man never seems to be impressed. Reason why I wondered if they are at loss for for it

It's possible / likely in fact they're paid in equivalent volume on their replacement kegs, so no profit margin. The hope obviously is that you'll buy some more, making money for both the bar and Heineken although going on what I've heard of it, that might not happen very often!
