I've been dyeing my lashes & brows at home for years now always works out fine. So I bought a diy kit the other day (not my usual brand) and I followed the instructions to a t. I now very dark brown dye stains under both my eyes, needles to say I look a right state so if anyone has any tips on how to remove them please let me now asap. thanks, I'm desperate at this stage. I looked it up on line and found several "helpful" tips that didnt work, here is the list
    1. milk
    2. vinegar (i had none, tried balsamic, it hurt like hell)
    3. nail polish remover (nearly went blind)
    4. baby oil
    5. ashes (tried a tiny bit from a gas fire, no luck)
    6. toothpaste & baking soda
I drew the line at bleach, alcohol & hairspray

at this stage my skin is dry & sore (underneath the brown)

Did you get it sorted that sounds horrific. What worked?

Poor you! First of all stop putting those strong solutions like nail polish remover & balsamic vinegar under your delicate eye area... (Balsamic vinegar not a good idea anyway as it is dark itself!!)
The last time I dyed my hair I made a right mess of it & ended up with around an inch of dark dark red dye all around my hair-line!
I used avocado oil on cotton wool to get it off and it really worked!
If you have any of the thicker oils even olive oil you could try that & it will be kinder to your skin!
I tried baby oil myself & that didn't work!
Hope you got it sorted :)

after about 3 days it faded, thank god, nothing worked I just applied a really thick layer of vaseline each nite, lesson learned leave it to the professionals next time
