im looking to buy a charger for the tractor,

is there anything i need to know.

i remember we had one years ago, it did the car battery and the tractor battery,

only a ford 3000, and the odd jeep battery,

    3 tonne digger battery etc.

    anyone recommend one?

would be useful also to have an accurate gauge to tell me whats in the battery power wise.

    cheers

    thanks,

from reading i think the amount of amps it can push is important,

    sounds like i need a 12-16

Well ours generally is switching between a forklift, MF35 and a Landini 8880.

Got a ring charger in halfrauds last week there, slow cycle is 2amp the fast charge is 20amp, has a start facility rated to 80amps, but is rated to charge anything up to a 12l engine.

Was €85 there checked Argos and it was €105

    Bought a ctek mx10 (10 amp)
Twill start the tractor in 20/30 mins from flat(ish)
Rang them before i bought it and he advised that . Bigger ones than 10 or so will shorten battery life , so he said
    Pricey though. !
