new cabinet doors, Dublin

a little rant before i ask what i want to ask.
so i got a local handiman to make 2 cabinets in my kitchen/dining area (he was brillinat, did fabulous job) and went on to look for someone to make doors for me (12 in total, so i dont consider it a very small job, not too small to turn it down anyway) to match the profile of the door i have on the older cabinets, so it's all one style. i got in touch with 4 different companies, including the one that did my kitchen originally and all of them were like: great, i'll get you a quote by tomorrow morning/this evening/etc. few phone calls and emails and couple of weeks later i gave up. how many times do i need to get someone to do a job for me and take my money??? it's crazy!!! not a single person came back to me with a quote!!! how do they operate if they dont want to sell :eek:

anyway, deep breath.....

now, does anyone know a place which woluld like to make some money by producing doors for me out of mdf? im in north county dublin. thanks

I stopped by a place in Coolock last week on my way to some other business.
He was making cabinet inserts, doors etc. so i stopped by to ask about my project.

Perhaps pop in and have a chat with him. Perhaps take one of your doors with you.

I know how you feel as i am having similar problems with wardrobe doors atm.
