Moth Infestation In Carpet

Last year, I noticed a part of the carpet was threadbare and we found moth larvae, I treated the area with steam and it appeared that it was resolved.

I started to notice moths every night over the past week and
decided to have a good look. It looks like I have an infestation under the sofa and one or two other areas in the room.

What is the best way to solve for once and for all? I've heard of a produce called pyrethrum but I don't want to use insecticides as we have a small dog.

According to this article you need to ventilate to reduce heat and humidity and you need to keep up a steady cleaning regime to remove the eggs and break the cycle.
