iphone 4s 48sim

    Hi my niece has a iphone 4 its unlocked & the only network it wont work with is 48mobile is anyone else having the same problem. She would like to get it going as it has a good allowance for 10 euro for a teenager .

    Does it work with a Tesco Sim? I had an issue before with an unlocked iphone that wouldnt take either a tesco, 48, or lyca sim, turned out that it was a replacement hadset that only had a service unlock rather than a full unlock.

    She bought it off ebay & their was a problem with mic on it . She got that fixed in a unlock shop & they tried sims in it the only sims that would not work in it were o2 & 48 sim the shop said they had tried the 48 sim in another iphone & it didnt work.

    Sounds like its not really unlocked tbh. If the phones been fiddled with we cant really be sure whats going on.

    Wrong sub, the mods can move it.

    On my s4 there's two kinds of unlocks, 1 unlocks all the bauds used by other countries, and the other was unlocking sims.

    No idea if that's relevant to 48 or iphones, but perhaps something for you to research/complain about to whoever.
