Irish Military Clothing?

A bit of a strange one perhaps, but just wondering if anyone knows where I could get the same brand clothing that the Irish army wear?

I've seen them up close, and it's really good quality stuff. Would make a great rain jacket or winter coat.

Having the badge on them would be cool too, but that might be a tall order!

I never saw similar stuff in army surplus shops.

Irish Army DPM equipment is the property of the state & never [Legally] available for sale

Even without the insignia? As in, some company must make them somewhere in Ireland?

When it does come up for sale (illegally) on foreign websites, the price is eye watering, as it is so rare.

Nope even the camo design is a copyright of the state. I remember years ago I was at a halloween party in a Limerick nightclub. A guy in our group was arrested along with several others for wearing an army uniform belong to their brothers.

Ah right. This I did not know. So it would not be possible to get something without insignia and with slightly different camo, but same quality/model of clothing?

I remember years ago, an Italian lad I knew, had a class gortex camo jacket with Italian insignia. He wouldn't sell it to me though :(

It was a leftover of his military service.

Who manufacturers it? They most likely sell non DPM gear, different colour same item. Or if they only make military clothing a different armed forces which allows surplus sales will use similar clothing, can't see many manufacturers tooling up especially for our military orders.

Wary buying online due to sizes, but at least I know it's there. I'll check the army store when I'm back in Limk this weekend.
