I have a 2006 tdi vw caddy..when I start it has lots of white smoke and it spluttery and stalls when I try and drive..after a couple of minute I rev it up a few times and smoke goes away..but driving I only have 70 or 80 percent of the power.but drives fine other than that..but when I turn it off and restart it has white smoke again and rev it up and its gone again..fuel filter is fine..water is fine..oil is fine ...any ideas ??

White smoke in a daysul occurs when raw diesel comes through the exhaust unburned.
It could be bad glowplugs, piston rings, injectors, timing or bad compression. Or something else :)
I assume that this is why water and oil is still ok.

Last service? Last plug change? Mis-firings? Error codes?
