a dush stole my phone

I was walking from work, just writing a message on my phone to my gf about my day at work, and some dushbag on a bike took my phone out my hand and biked away.
So I went in both vtec and turbo modes and run after him but I didn't have enough boost.

At the corner a woman (unknown to me) almost crashed into the guy, he dropped the phone and continue biking she saw me running and looking lost where he went, had him in my sight all the time.

She asked me if I was looking for this and hold my phones, said yes and she told me I should keep my phone In my pocket and be careful next time (thank you woman with the long brown hair)!

My phone has a silicone case and has been proven not just to be dropped proof but you can throw with it without it getting broken (blackberry passport) and you cannot unlock my phone, restore my phone or shut it down or anything without access to my BlackBerry ID.

So it I would be at home I can login and locate it, but you shouldn't have to do all those things.

Anyway, the guy was white, blond short hair, red tshirt, kind of racing bike and that's all I can recall.

My point is, I don't care who it was people should stop trying to touch persons stuff and get a job instead.

Enjoying nice weather ended up badly and now I will look over my shoulder, specially in dublin in this matter or walk less towards the road. But still you should be able to walk without having to be afraid that people try to steal your stuff.

I didn't go to police because I have my phone back and I have no clue who the woman was and I don't think police will do that much because I have it back anyway.

That I wanted to share with you peepz.

Anyone that ever had the same experience?

Can i have my 10 seconds back for reading that blog post? Nice that you have your phone back but for the love of God, never mention the words vtec and peepz in the same paragraph again.
    Thanks for your time.

Did you really need to include that? So racist.

Not that I want to denigrate the OP's ordeal or anything, but you do have to begrudgingly admire the skill of the bike riding phone thief to pluck a handset right out of the person's hand and carry on riding. I saw CCTV footage of it happen one time, and it was like in those wildlife programs where the bird snatches a salmon out of the river in one swift swoop and ascent. Admittedly, they would be better doing something else, something which puts that great hand-eye coordination to good use... :pac:

Phones need to have a destruct facility so they can never be used again and therefore become not worth stealing.

Many years ago I was selling a very flash and expensive new phone (boxed and sealed Nokia 6820) in the BuyandSell and went to meet a guy who was interested in it. As I was handing it to him a moped came tearing up the footpath and grabbed it. Obviously a set up but the chap played dumb and said he knew nothing about it. Fcuker was bigger than me so naff all I could do about it.

yeah... it's a total dodgy kip-hole up there OP... steer clear. the last time they were up to stuff like that, they were throwing themselves in front of cars and gangs coming over to force money out of the drivers in extortion racket in the middle of the street.

just dont be a spa with your phone out in public. nothing more annoying than twats on their phones in the street anyway!! so, serves you right if it's snatched off you to be honest.

Serves you right when you walk into a wall when too busy on your phone when walking.
Getting it stolen by some **** is too much of a punishment.

Reckon op was going for douchebag:

Generally used to rinse out vaginas, It is like an enema bag, a big red rubber bag that holds water with a long white hose and a nozzle to stick up the vagina to rinse it out.
Used to describe scumbags & knackers in the US. Never heard it used much over here, but maybe the OP is from America?

This is really a lesson in how easy it is for someone to thief a valuable item very easily, and something that will easily re-sell.
    It's quite a common occurence.

They're not particularly good nazis then if they don't strictly adhere to the definition of grammar. They'll never win anything at this rate.

haha that image made me laugh.

but no, i think it's quite the fitting punishment for acting the mongo on your phone not looking where you're going and then expecting everyone else to see you texting and move out of YOUR way? eh... no.

take out your "amazing" phone that you want to show off in the street, or if you're a texter while walking - i'd be delighted if it was snatched outta your hand. good for them (the thief i mean) in that situation.

too many mongos going around without watching where they walk nowadays. spas.

No show off, just talking to my girl how my day was, what's wrong about that.
