Amazon Prime/ Unlimited Photos

I can't quite figure out from the various "help" pages on Amazon itself if the Prime subscription includes the Unlimited Photo backup.
When logged into the Cloud Drive it says that I currently have Prime and also a trial subscription to Unlimited Photos, but that the Photos bit runs out in a couple of months. But then right next to it it says that having Prime gives you Unlimited Photos backup.

My best guess they are just trying to be deliberately vague so that people sign up for paying them twice for something that is included as part of the Prime membership, but can't quite be sure. Does anyone know for sure if the Unlimited Photos are part of Prime and so won't expire until the Prime subscription does?

Prime does include unlimited photos, however keep in mind that it won't accept certain raw formats.... This ruined my plan to use it to backup 1TB of photos :( (accepted formats are in help pages)

When you login are you by any chance being redirected to Amazon photos on. Com? If you registered with Amazon photos with. Com before it started as a service on amazon UK this can cause issues. I know cause this happened to me.

If your increase storage space price options are in dollars then give Amazon a call to sort it,

Yep, the prices are in USD and it reverts to the US site. I did have a handful of files already uploaded to the Amazon cloud from ages ago that I'd forgotten about. That all makes more sense now. Thanks.

Thought as much, Amazon need to deactivate your. Com photo account and activate your UK account. Once that's done you'll have unlimited with prime.

    It's a 5min job to get sorted

I wish. I've had pretty much the same problem. I was backing up photos on a trial .com account while I also have a paid .co.uk Prime account. It took many emails and calls to get a solution but I still cannot back up photos to my Prime account - it always redirects to my deactivated .com account which is in read only mode for a month after deactivation.

I've a new problem now too, having received my Fire TV Stick (which was setup in German btw), that I cannot play ANY Prime content on it. Total BS, sick of Amazon already.
