3D Baby Scan - Med1 Refund ?

Hi all, I've been told that my VHI does not cover any refund for a 3D baby scan if it was done by a technician and NOT by a GP / Midwife or Obstetrician... Does anyone know If I can claim back Tax on the 3D Scan with MED1 Claim form ? Thx, R

I doubt it. Diagnostic scans, Yes. Referred by a GP, Yes. Self referrals of any nature generally aren't.
