Saab 9-3 Front Shocks

    I have a 01 Saab 9-3 Aero which failed its NCT based on drivers side shock. Does anyone know roughly how much replacing the shocks should be. The quotes I'm getting are very different.

    Advanced are quoting €135 a side - €270
    Garage in town are quoting -€400 ish
    Fast Fit are charging €180 a side + €30 for wheel alignment.

    Quotes are probably based on what brand shocks they intend to use.
    You could check with a local indy if they will work with supplied shocks, and then you source shocks yourself. Get the labour cost.
