    Kurt Sutter's new FX Series

A strong cast with Stephen Moyer, Brian F. O’Byrne, Timothy V. Murphy and of course Mrs Stutter Katey Sagal.
Set in the early 14th century, a knight in King Edward I’s army is broken by the horrors of war and vows to lay down his weapon. But when violence finds him again, he is forced to pick up the bloodiest sword of all: an executioner's sword. Part of the plot will deal with fallout from the Madog ap Llywelyn Welsh rebellion

I thought it was quite good but a bit hard to follow in places. Brian F O'Byrne was brilliant. Can't see it being more than 1 season though.

I thought it was boring and severely lacking any sort of plot. The costumes are terrible. I hope it improves anyway as I like the Medieval setting.

Well I'd guess this is the only piece of television or movie that depicts the exciting setting of Wales during Edward 2 reign. Glad to see Bill from True Blood getting work but think there are more interesting times in English history to depict.

Create a series to give his wife a job.

Boring and took way to long to get to the point.

I take it that was Kurt Sutter in the gimp outfit?

Watched the first episode last night. Nothing spectacular. It wasn't an exciting opener by any standards. Not sure what to make of it all really. I keep comparing it to SOA given that there is an overlap with actors. It might have been good if there was a year or two of a remove between it and SOA.

Like SOA I'm just hoping that we'll have episodes that are lacklustre coupled with brilliant episodes. Who knows!

I'm catching up with the Bastard show. My god it's very nasty. I don't think the plot or pacing is up to much. Not surprised it was axed. Ha ha ha. Katey Sagal looks like the singer Patti Smith !

Just finished watching it. An absolute dog of a show. Appalling. No wonder it was cancelled
