I'd love to know how they came up with 27 euros and 106 euros. WTF!

    Could be tempted myself
But the agenda could be a little more specific

Someone finally came up with an idea of how to rid the young farmers of the €65 a hectare top up.

Agree with you. I've to take annual leave from my quota that's getting smaller, so don't want to waste a day. Hold off another while

Thought young in farmer terms was 40.
Doubt they will be checking age :-)

Bit the bullet. Seen as I have no holidays booked this year, may as well use up my days..

Will it be worth going? I'd be going from Clare.

I'm farming for my mam after dad dying and have no clue on any of paperwork side.

Anybody else at it? Very interesting so far

yeah I made the trip up, very good.
    it was well run event.
the young fella that got into the dairy was a real solid business man.
the suckler/sheep guy was entertaining but his advisor was very depressing about the viability of making a living from it. he was farming 300 acres

No but to be fair it wasn't really looking at individual farm enterprises, you could get that at any farm walk. Was more about planning, succession and finance
