Can anyone point me towards legislation on noise pollution? I live city centre an understand it can be noisy but since 8am this morning (Sunday) the council have been outside my window drilling up the road and making ridiculous amounts of noise.(I'm on the 3rd floor) I mean even with the tv turned right up, you can still hear it.

Are there any restrictions on making that kind of noise that early on a weekend? I was looking forward to a lie in all week :/
