Starting a new job with an IT firm in West Dublin next week and am unable to find accommodation. I've been on Daft looking up studio apartments and house shares the past 3 months but nothing has come up that I can afford or located near the bus route (I don't drive). Also been checking out the accommodation forums on here. I don't know anyone in Dublin and am seriously starting to panic now. Anyone have any advice?
    Cheers.

Try the student accommodation complexes, many of the do short term lets during the summer. That would buy you some time - and noticeboards or colleagues in your new company may yield some options.

Needs to be within walking distance.

How long in terms of time?

And what part of West Dublin/what is your budget?

Stay in a B and B if you have to- once you start work tell everyone you meet that you are looking for a place to rent nearby and I am sure something will come up. Put up a card on the notice board too. Congrats on the new job by the way!

600 pcm for a houseshare should be fine

D15/7 is Dublin City/North Dublin on the likes of Daft not West Dublin :)

Fair bit of choice here with sharing in a house from 275 per month up to 600 per month

103 different options between Navan Road, Cabra, Blanch, Castleknock, Clonee, Huntstown, Clonsilla, and Tyrellstown

Cycling distance. That would give you lots of options.
