[Help please!] Water intoxication?

Hi, I'm 19 and 145 lbs and I've had strep throat for about the last week. Last night I was given 2 solpadol soluble tablets and I went to bed. I woke up at about 3am feeling really thirsty and my mouth was very dry. Since then I figure I've probably had about 12-14 litres of water and I've only urinated twice, couldn't have been more than 1-2 litres. I don't understand where all that water is going and I still feel thirsty but now I'm worried I may have water intoxication as it seems as little as 6-8 litres can kill you. Can you please clear up how worried I should be if I feel no new symptoms yet? I stopped drinking so much about an hour ago.

Not the place to be seeking medical advice. If you are worried, see a doctor.

Please read forum charter, sticky, and go see a doctor if you are concerned
