Stenaline just put prices for 2016 Rosslare - Cherbourg up on web and checking prices for June-July next year, it's working out over €1000 return for 2 adults & 2 kids in 4 berth outside cabin.

We paid €525 return for same dates this year ! The prices appear to have doubled ? Anyone know what's going on - is it an error ?

€525- that was a good deal, a very good deal.

I paid €1,050 for inside cabin for 2 + 2 Ross-Cher with IF this year (late June , return early July). Booked it in Nov14 and I don't think it got much cheaper after that from what I've read on here.
Thankfully had Tesco vouchers which knocked €850 off the price

That's good to know - have ordered a tesco credit card and hope to save using the boost vouchers but don't they put up the prices for tesco ?

The prices only go up €20 each way if you are using Tesco vouchers (from what I can see anyways) and the accommodation prices are the same. But I stand to be corrected.

Thats correct. I booked my tickets online at the regular price and when I indicated I was using Tesco vouchers, the €20 each way was added on at the end. That was the only difference v's not using Tesco vouchers.

FYI- it took me 2 years to get that €850 worth of vouchers. So it's not that easy to build up the value...shopping in Tesco of course would help as that gives you more points, but I rarely ever go in there these days

Have now got the Tesco credit card and hoping to save the vouchers and save a few quid off the ferry prices. Still waiting for IF 2016 prices so we can compare all 3. Such a big difference between mid June vs late June sailing prices :(

We sailed 15 June so that's why it was cheaper this year, but next year we need to go 10 days later hence the twice the price ! We will prob pay around €1000 for 2016 but if we can use the boost vouchers it might reduce the price somewhat and also waiting to see if Stena has the 25% off again at the ploughing championships :pac:
