    Hi people,
Some questions regarding booster / vaccines.
I have a 2year old pug/cav who weighs 6kg, my girlfriend doesn't want to get him the booster again this year because he's be getting the same dose as a much larger dog, has anybody been in the same situation? What did they do?

Boosters are a vaccination not a drug so its not based on bodyweight at all.its a set amount of a killed bug(virus/bacteria etc)that stimulates the immune system into producing its own protections against the live versions of the bug.
All dogs are given the same dose as its the recommended amount to stimulate an immune responce in the species.same as children and adults would recieve the same tetanus injection.

At 2 years of age if fully vacinated up to this point(.ie 2 puppy injections and a year one booster already recieved)he will likely only need the lepto booster+/- the flu and kennel cough vaccine (depends on your area) as the dhppi -which includes parvo distemper etcs on a 3 year schedule.
