New Ecig burning lungs off me(istick+subtank mini)

I upgraded to an istick 50w and a subtank mini from a spinner 2 battery and evod head. Whatever wattage I have it set up its burning the lungs off me and start coughing. Is there something wrong I'm doing? Using wingnuts juice.

I read up on this forum it's meant for mouth to lung and not coughing now. Taking a bit to get used to. Anyone recommend a head thst a not mouth to lung? Attached the evod head and nearly went on fire lol.

Just went and bought an aspire head, that protank would kill ya lol

I use my subtank at around 30watts, that's with a stock 0.5 coild in the mini and a 0.6 RBA in the subtank plus at around 30 as well, 5-6mg nic. liquid 25%pg 75%vg
if it is any good to you as a reference

You must be using 18mg or 24mg liquid to get a burning & coughing from a subtank,I am using one of the big Subtanks (25mm) with a 1.2 ohm coil & vaping 24mg Shredded Hawaiin around 16w & what a kick in the lungs it gives me,I hate those 1.2 coils,only using it to get rid of them,it's not too bad if I close off all the air holes & leave the smallest gap I can,then do a mouth to lung.

It always blows my mind when I hear of people vaping at 15w never mind 30w. Dunno how ye do it. I vape kanger T2 clearos with 1.8ohm heads on an iStick at 4.7w and if I accidentally hit the buttons in my pocket and knock it up to just 5w ill immediately know it happened and feel it's to hot and tastes burnt.

Moved from 24mg to 18 to 12mg over the course of the last 90ml of juice. Been a doodle. Should have done it a few years ago. Switched to vaping 3 years ago and luckily I suppose it never became a hobby. Settled on a simple setup and single juice within a few months. I reckon because of that the transition from 0mg in a few weeks to giving up vaping altogether won't be painful at all. That and the knowledge that weakness from then on will just mean digging out the setup from the back of a drawer or purchasing a disposable at worst rather than buying a pack of fags and being back on them for a few more years like happened in the past.

I've been vaping nearly 6 years now & never thought of fags during that time until a few days ago,I was doing something really intense on the computer & never took a vape for at least half an hour & I had about 30 mods in front of me,after I finished using the computer & glad that had finished,the first words out of my mouth was...could do with a fag now

:D I couldn't believe what I said after all those years,it soon past & had a vape instead,I think we all need that little nicotine hit now & again,I think the cravings never leaves us imo.

Calibos, there is no wrong way to vape, if you aren't smoking cigarettes, you are doing it right!

Id say its a matter of being stuck somewhere in between sub ohming and normal vaping. It takes a bit of getting used to.

What coil are you using? To start off id advise you to use the 1.2 ohm stock coil as that would be nearer to what you had previously. Close down the air holes to the minimum and then work your way up if you feel you need to might help as well.

Switching to the 50w istick and Mini Sub tank is a big jump from a Spinner and evod. The vape was always going to be a bit harsher.

If it continues to be a problem Id highly recommend the Ego One Mega tank. Its 1.0 stock coils seem a lot less harsh than the Sub tank in my experience.
