Hi has anyone bought a wedding dress from iedress.com? In the process of trying to find a dress and seen this website seems to good to be true. Any feedback would be great.

From the name alone it looks like a scam site...yep just by looking at it it looks like any one of the Chinese websites that make "replicas" of the dresses shown. Can be good, can be disastrous, total lottery.

Stay away from any of those sites.
as already said, it's a complete lottery.
my sister in law bought her dress online and although it looked beautiful she had to spend an absolute fortune in alterations so it would fit her properly.
I bought mine from the same site and it looked absolutely nothing like what I ordered. I eventually got my money back through PayPal. Definitely not worth the hassle/ risk..

One of my in laws is a dressmaker she's full time doing alterations for brides and bridesmaids, they get bargain dresses online but they never fit or aren't what they ordered.

My wife bought a dress from one of those chinese websites a couple of years ago. It was a short wedding dress for the evening part of the wedding. It fit her perfectly and we both agreed it was much nicer than the much more expensive dress she bought in Galway.

I bought a gown on a site through eNay many years ago. It was supposed to be a show stopper.
The dress arrived in an A3 sized plastic envelope. Took it out and my God, it was huge, even though my mother measured me up and we carefully took and submitted my measurements.
It was a size 12, not the size 8 I needed on top.
    Loads of material.
Somehow, I was lucky to have, through my sisters family, her aunt in law was a very trusting and creative dress maker. She transformed my gown into a masterpiece.
Separated the dress into two pieces. Made a skirt and bodice. Took out the zip and used material else where on the dress to create the inner panel of the bodice. It was amazing.

I was very lucky it could have been salvaged. I will Never trust a site again.
If it's too goo to be true, well then it has to be. Follow your gut for that instinct.

I got bridesmaid dresses on jjhouse.com and they were perfect but pick the option to put in your own measurements. Also be aware you will have to pay duty tax once it comes to Ireland I was stung for 160e extra I wasn't prepared for!
