    Hi All

Anyone out there have a tummy tuck ? I have had two c sections one planned one emergency - after my second one my wound opened and would not heal for 9 weeks I had several courses of antiobiotics - anywhoo after working my ass off twice a week and clean eating I am just at my goal weight - however I have this pouch which hangs and sticks out of everything - I went for a consultation and was told I would need a full tummy tuck - bit surprised as its just the lower part of my tummy my top part has some abs if I tense my tummy :) im going for second consultation next Friday and was wondering if anyone has had one ? thanks for reading

You've probably had your consultation and all at this point.

My friend had one some years back. Like you, she'd lost the baby weight (gradually) & despite everything she was left with a large flap of loose skin on her belly. She got out a loan for about 3k & just got it done. This is ten years ago we're talking. She wouldn't be the type that you'd sterotype as a plastic surgery person at all and it didn't put her under financial pressure.

She definitely does not regret it at all, except that her belly button is a little bit higher then it should be and the recovery was very hard, but that's all water under the bridge now.

Thanks for the reply Mink - I am going for a second consultation on Friday - at this stage I am taking all the information on board - its the only part of my body that really bothers me -and if I could tone it up I would however there is no feeling in it after two c sections -
I will go for second consultation on Friday and see what they say -

    Thanks again

What do they do? Is it just the skin and fat layers or do they do things with the underlying muscle?

I know some of my muscles didn't knit fully after my second baby, and it causes me backache and neckache from time to time. I couldn't give a hoot about how my apron looks, but it would be nice to get some of the muscular integrity back.

Op it only costs about 5k here. Is there a reason you are going abroad

I personally wouldn't go abroad for a procedure like that.

I got quoted 7,200 and 7,500 for the procedure here. Ive researched the clinic and surgeons and ive seen the results in persons from previous paitents. Im very happy with my decision

I'm thinking of going to Prague for lipo suction and a tummy tuck - has anyone had experience of this?

Hi I'm a bit late to this but I went to Prague for my tummy tuck with Lipo and it was the best money I've ever spent... It's a great city with fantastic clinics and surgeons, it's not like ur going down a back alley to let someone operate on you. Although mine only cost 3800€ all included. I'm only 2 1/2 weeks post op atm and my results are amazing even with the swelling
