Clearing out some gear after the arrival of N+1.

Pretty fair prices IMO, most of the below has seen pretty limited use. As a job lot, it would go a long way towards getting a frameset on the road.

    Tiagra 10 speed front mech (Grey/Silver) - 10

    Tiagra 10 speed rear mech (Grey/Silver) - 10

    Tiagra 10 speed crankset & bottom bracket (Grey/Silver) - 50

    Genesis Stem (Black) - 10

These have just come off a bike I've picked up second hand. Everything working perfectly and in good condition.

Dia Compe ENE DT 9 speed Shifters (Silver) - 25

These came off my tourer last year after about 4 or 5 months use..

Mavic rims with a Tiagra 9 speed hub & Velox tape - 35

    SRAM PG950 11-26t 9 speed cassette - 10

    SRAM PC991 9 speed chain - 5

These are currently pretty much all attached. There's about 1200km on them. Wheelset is cheap, cheerful and bombproof, there's some wear on the braking surface, and a scratch or two too, but whether it's on the turbo or around town, they're pretty handy. The wear on the cassette matches the chain, makes sense to bundle them in together.

I'll have photos up by next Monday at the latest.

Would hand over the whole lot for 130, or part trade for a Garmin speed/cadence sensor, and/or a nice handlebar along the lines of a Ritchey Classic or Salsa Cowbell.

Based in Dublin, collection near city centre or drop-off pretty much anywhere around central Dublin can be arranged. Free from next Tuesday onwards to do so.

I think it's 170, and 53/34 - I'm away from Dublin with work for a few days, will confirm Sunday night if that's ok?

Paul, Monday or Tuesday ok with you?

Not to butt in, but I very much doubt that the chainset has the above combination, as 53 is the large from a standard double, with 34 being the small from a compact - most derailleurs will support a 16 tooth gap at most, never mind 19! Would guess it's either 53/39 or 50/34 (to make one of the numbers correct), but maybe something in between like 52/36.

Yep, you're most probably correct, though I did say I think - I'm away for a few days and had to leave earlier than expected due to work commitments, I'll let you know specifics when I get back Sunday night/Monday morning.

I've literally only ridden that combination of components for 2/3 minutes from picking up the bike, back to my house where everything was swapped out so apologies for the lack of detail. I'd say it's most likely a 50/34.

Did you ever get sorted for a garmin sensor
I'd swap 3 of em( yes 3!) for the mechs and crank
You'd have one for all yer bikes then;-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,407 ✭✭✭OldBean

Definitely up for swapping one sensor kit for the mechs, and maybe some cash for the cranks?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 712 ✭✭✭onthefringe

Is the front. Mech braze or band on?
If band - what size ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,407 ✭✭✭OldBean

Band on, as far as I know 28.6mm/31.8mm. I'm not sure if I have spacers in my spares box, but will have a peek if you're interested.

    Fair enough
1 sensor for the mechs?? If you have shims it would be great
Happy with that if you are

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,407 ✭✭✭OldBean

Great! Just to confirm, it's the garmin speed/cadence sensor?

Based in Dublin? If so, happy to meet up and make sure the mech will fit before you commit? Are you after the 28 or 31 size on it?
